Job Summary:

The Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Operating Room Lead. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of surgical procedures and patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the surgical team.
  • Coordinate and lead the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Provide education and training to staff members on surgical procedures and patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of operating room experience in the acute care setting.
  • Preferred one year of experience in a Level 1 trauma OR setting.
