Platform Engineer I

Mastercard is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer I to join our team. As a Platform Engineer I, you will be responsible for the development, building, and maintenance of assigned platform technologies and associated software products.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the development, building, and maintenance of assigned platform technologies and associated software products
Support holistic platform security posture which includes identifying risks, escalating potential concerns, and implementing both risk mitigation plans and control functions
Support the development of status reports and implementation and troubleshooting activities, providing updates to project plans as needed
Collaborate with internal customers across development verticals to enable better decision making and support system and platform initiatives
Provide basic technical assistance to development programmers and customers to ensure proper system/platform performances
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or accelerated master's program graduating between Winter 2024 – Spring 2025
Pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, and similar degrees
Experience/education in analytics - AI or Machine Learning
Exposure to databases, Tableau or Power BI
Experience in technical documentation
Strong ability to work within a fast-paced team
Strong interest in learning various technologies
Less than 1 year of professional work experience (not including internships)
