  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments, events, and other destinations as scheduled.
  • Coordinate daily appointment schedules with dispatchers, center personnel, and patients.
  • Assist patients in and out of vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Maintain updated driver logs on a daily basis.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and base managers to report any issues, delays, or incidents.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is in good condition, clean, and properly maintained.
  • Comply with all federal and state traffic laws, as well as CareMax policies and procedures.
  • Support and enforce company philosophies, objectives, and policies.

Requirements:

  • High School or GED required.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License for a minimum of 12 months and a good driving record.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultural, ethnic, and age groups.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Geographic knowledge of transport areas.
  • Ability to operate a computer and necessary software.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
