As a Home Health Aide with Willcare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Assistance: Provide patients with in-home personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, transfer, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Incidental Household Services: Perform incidental household services essential to the patient's health care at home, such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Clinical Documentation: Complete clinical notes for each visit within required timeframes, which must be incorporated into the patient's record.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Provide care according to the aide plan of care/assignment sheet and in accordance with State Practice Act or regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Successful completion of a competency evaluation and current CPR certification.
  • License and Certification: Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
  • State-Specific Requirements: NY: Successful completion of a basic training program in home health aide services or an equivalent exam approved by the Department with written evidence of completion.
