Job Opportunity

The City of Richmond, Texas is seeking a motivated and dedicated Community Service Professional to fill the position of Police Officer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to maintaining public safety.

As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and ordinances, performing patrol functions, and providing assistance to citizens. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and ordinances, and provide assistance to the community
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Testify in court and participate in training programs
  • Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Certification from TCOLE
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
