Position Overview:
As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) initiatives at our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies that ensure our operations are environmentally responsible and that our workplace is safe and free from accidents. You will foster a culture of safety and sustainability across all departments through effective program management and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the comprehensive management of environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate standards, monitoring performance and adherence to applicable laws.
• Prepare and submit all required environmental documentation and reports.
• Develop and implement training programs aimed at promoting a safe working environment.
• Lead investigations into accidents and prepare necessary reports for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Actively participate in the EH&S Pillar Team, providing guidance and resources to subcommittees.
• Manage initial Workers Compensation processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Identify and deliver necessary training to ensure compliance with OSHA, TOSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial safety management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations as they apply to facility operations.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols.
