About the Role

Berry Global, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Safely unload, stage, scan, and store raw materials and finished goods.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all tasks are performed in a safe manner, comply with OSHA and Hazardous Material regulations, and observe plant and departmental safety rules and regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform forklift inspections, report any issues, and maintain battery health.
  • Inventory Management: Verify, identify, and inspect incoming materials and supplies, and accurately record inventory transactions using barcode scanners and/or computer systems.
  • Quality Control: Ensure no damage product is shipped and no damaged raw materials are accepted.
  • Warehouse Operations: Participate in cycle counts, maintain warehouse housekeeping, and follow all procedures, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, material specifications, and job safety analysis.
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • 6 months - 2 years previous forklift experience
  • Certifications: Forklift Operator
