**Job Overview**
Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a member of our maintenance crew, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform standard vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake work, and tire checks.
- Diagnostic and Repairs: Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform facility maintenance duties as needed.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Three or more years of relevant work experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
- Certifications: Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, vocational or technical certification, or post-secondary degree preferred.
Benefits:
- Salary: $30.15 per hour.
- Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 every quarter.
