Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in education, quality, evidence-based practice, scholarly activities, regulatory affairs, and research to positively impact and advance nursing practice, quality metrics, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centric care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
  • Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment.
