High Profile Business Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Profile Business Litigation Specialist to join our team at a prestigious legal firm in Austin, TX.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the legal field, with a strong emphasis on litigation. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments.
- Review and draft litigation documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Manage and organize large volumes of complex case-related documents, and compile them into reports for attorneys, courts, and other parties.
- Coordinate and manage routine case management activities, including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Act as a liaison between the trial team and third parties such as witnesses, clients, vendors, experts, and court personnel.
- Maintain case management system by updating court deadlines, discovery deadlines, and task assignments.
- Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial.
- Prepare exhibits and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial.
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge of legal principles and practices, legal research techniques, and legal terminology.
- Proficient in e-discovery and case management software, as well as MS Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate attorney needs and potential challenges.
- Experience in drafting pleadings, discovery, and procedural motions.
- Familiarity with the rules of civil procedure and evidence.
