Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lactation Specialist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to nursing mothers and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process in Women's Care Center, Labor & Delivery, NBICU, Pediatrics, and ER.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to nursing personnel, patients, and their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Establish professional goals and plans for achieving these goals.
Requirements
  • Appropriate combination of RN, BSN, APRN, PA, or demonstrated experience and skill.
  • Nursing Certification in Lactation (IBCLC).
  • 2-3 years clinical experience in specialty area.
  • Maintain current RN, APRN, or PA licensure in State of Connecticut.
