Position Overview:
The Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in delivering mental health services to children and adolescents as part of an integrated outpatient psychiatry program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical outcomes and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, both in-person and via telehealth, to diagnose a range of mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, medications, and health promotion strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with professional standards.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to assess and enhance service delivery and patient care.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid Advanced Practice Nurse-Psychiatric Mental Health license in Texas and have a Master's degree from an accredited nursing program. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build effective relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience:
Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in a clinical setting, proficiency in electronic medical records, and a bilingual capability in English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
