Join CVS Health as a Staff Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose of increasing access, lowering costs, and improving quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications, and identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and maintain accurate records.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of patient care, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, customers, and colleagues, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, and ensure that medications and supplies are available when needed.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, and ensure that all losses are reported and investigated.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold an active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Hold immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, and be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree is required.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time or part-time position, with a rotating shift and rotating weekends.

Ability to relocate is required, as this position may be located in multiple locations.
