Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at Richland County School District One. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed to move goods and materials.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and reconciling stock levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Lead to develop and implement efficient workflows and processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
