We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to ensure the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our apartment community.
Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Diagnose and execute all necessary repairs within the apartment community, covering plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical systems. Installation of new appliances as required.
- Ensure timely completion of resident service requests.
- Assist in maintaining the property's exterior to uphold a clean and attractive curb appeal at all times.
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Facilities Maintenance Specialist position will possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems; HVAC certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Availability for on-call responses to after-hours emergencies.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license may be required for this role.
