Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tax Technology Analyst to join our team and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of tax technology solutions, optimization of tax processes, and support for indirect tax compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain tax technology solutions to support indirect tax processes.
  • Analyze tax data and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of custom indirect tax reporting solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of tax technology processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tax processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding business initiatives impacting indirect tax.
  • Support and maintain deployed Alteryx workflows.
  • Support ad-hoc tax projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in tax or finance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recent experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, results-oriented tax department or similar work environment.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in indirect tax technology, tax compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience with process automation, improvements, and standardization, ensuring enhanced controls, and delivering timely, high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of indirect tax laws, regulations, concepts, and principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and tactfully, both verbally and in writing, successfully translating always-complex tax and technology matters to business partners and customers.
  • Ability to work productively with a high degree of independence and with accuracy and high attention to detail, while knowing when to seek guidance or assistance.

Preferred Computer and Software Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of data wrangling and visualization tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 and Fiori.
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Tax Determination and Vertex.
  • Ability and initiative to learn new systems required to perform job responsibilities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $89,300.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
