Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Parts Counter Specialist, your role will involve:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and shop clients.
- Assisting customers in selecting the necessary parts in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Informing customers about special offers and ensuring they are aware of the complete product range.
- Responding to phone inquiries with accurate price quotes and information.
- Fulfilling orders from stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Communicating with the parts manager regarding out-of-stock items and urgent needs.
- Locating parts from external sources and processing emergency orders when required.
- Notifying service advisors and customers about the arrival of special orders.
- Conducting follow-ups on back-ordered items.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the parts counter area.
- Participating in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Staying updated on new products and industry developments.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 months of relevant experience or training.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math and reading comprehension abilities.
- Understanding of distribution center operations.
- Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and work at heights.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
