Key Responsibilities

As a Parts Counter Specialist, your role will involve:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and shop clients.
  • Assisting customers in selecting the necessary parts in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Informing customers about special offers and ensuring they are aware of the complete product range.
  • Responding to phone inquiries with accurate price quotes and information.
  • Fulfilling orders from stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Communicating with the parts manager regarding out-of-stock items and urgent needs.
  • Locating parts from external sources and processing emergency orders when required.
  • Notifying service advisors and customers about the arrival of special orders.
  • Conducting follow-ups on back-ordered items.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the parts counter area.
  • Participating in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Staying updated on new products and industry developments.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 months of relevant experience or training.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension abilities.
  • Understanding of distribution center operations.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and work at heights.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
