We gather, assess, and generate insights from diagnostic and usage data derived from Apple devices. This information is pivotal in enhancing products and services and guiding the strategic direction of Apple platforms.


Our engineering responsibilities encompass device interaction, data collection, computational processes, and the creation of query and visualization interfaces.

As a member of the Data Analytics division, you will collaborate across various functions to design, develop, and refine data-centric APIs, services, and web applications.

Working alongside data scientists and engineers throughout Apple, you will capture and clarify requirements, validate design choices, and execute implementations. This position holds significant visibility and influence within the Apple Software Engineering community.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in web application and API development
  • Proficient in container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, EC2, Mesos, etc.)
  • Familiar with major cloud service platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Expertise in backend and REST API development/integration
  • Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven and dedicated with strong creative and analytical thinking abilities
Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.


Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with big data query engines (e.g., Impala, Presto/Trino)
  • Proficiency in UX frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Typescript)
  • Strong skills in C++ programming
Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base salary is one component of our overall compensation package and is determined within a specified range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base salary range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
