About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve the overall quality of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification.
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification.
  • CCRN preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
