Job Summary

Turner Construction is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to support our office departments and/or business units. As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform daily tasks, provide customer service, and ensure seamless operations.

Key Tasks
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations for department head/manager.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and maintain organizational charts for office departments.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of business unit/headquarters' historical information, including vendor relationships, industry memberships, and client events.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, book accommodations, and prepare itineraries and agendas.
  • Process expense reports, maintain filing systems, and ensure timely document retrieval.
  • Embody company values, promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and contribute to team effectiveness.
  • Order supplies, provide team support, and assist with special projects and events.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum 5 years of administrative experience in construction or related field.
  • College degree and/or administrative skills certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and collaborate with team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, data entry, and general office equipment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,500, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a dynamic office environment, interacting with colleagues and clients daily. Occasional travel may be required, and physical demands include sitting for extended periods and using a computer.
