Position Overview:

RER Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated National Environment Policy Act (NEPA) Specialist to enhance the efforts of the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED). This role is pivotal in driving clean energy demonstration initiatives in collaboration with the private sector, aiming for a swift and equitable transition to a sustainable energy framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert technical assistance to ensure adherence to various environmental laws, regulations, and policies relevant to NEPA documentation and environmental assessments.
  • Employ knowledge from biology, natural resource management, physical sciences, and engineering to create and evaluate documents, analyze scientific data, provide informed recommendations, address challenges, and track results.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen to secure a client-issued Public Trust.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Background in Clean Energy is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in business writing are crucial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
