Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group, PLC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of foods, as well as coordinating the activities of cooks and other food-service associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Coordinate the activities of cooks and other food-service associates to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Assume responsibility for the kitchen and food-service associates in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
- Proven track record of success in kitchen management and leadership.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
