The Experienced Pool Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on all aquatic facilities, ensuring optimal performance of pool and spa systems. This role involves diagnosing and rectifying mechanical issues while meticulously documenting all tasks completed.
As a vital member of our team, the technician will embody professionalism and courtesy, prioritizing the safety and satisfaction of our guests and members. The position primarily requires availability for late-night shifts.
We prefer candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in maintaining electrical and mechanical systems. Comprehensive training will be provided on the specific requirements of pool and spa upkeep. The technician will be expected to obtain a Certified Pool Operators Certification within 90 days of employment.
Key competencies for success in this role include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to interpret instructions, data, gauges, and charts
- Proficiency in computer operations
Occasional driving duties are part of the role, thus a valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record are essential. The technician must be capable of safely operating a company vehicle equipped with a lift gate and/or standard transmission.
As the Houstonian Campus LLC operates year-round, flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
