We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Superintendent to lead our electrical operations in the Charlotte area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical activities and field labor on our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee labor productivity, including task code development, budgeting, and tracking.
- Collaborate with Field Operations Manager and Project Manager to determine labor requirements and projections.
- Participate in weekly meetings to ensure the Jobsite team is working towards a common goal.
- Develop contractor relationships and communicate professionally with field personnel.
- Attend project meetings and engage in discussions on schedule, constraints, and other project-related matters.
- Collaborate with Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Organize and plan labor, tools, material, equipment, and information needed to meet commitments within budget and production goals.
- Provide technical advice and resolve field problems.
- Oversee and supervise Foremen and Senior Electricians to plan and coordinate work activities.
- Participate in BIM and Clash Detection Meetings, providing necessary oversight, layout, documentation, and support to the BIM team.
- Review and approve drawings for accuracy and determine prefab opportunities.
- Enforce processes, best practices, quality control, and safety standards implementation into project.
- Review, analyze, and understand technical plans, blueprints, submittals, and specifications related to the project.
- Perform job walks daily and document deficiencies, constraints, and problems encountered.
- Identify staff strengths and weaknesses and recommend training opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage single projects larger than $10M in annual revenue.
- NC Electrical License or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
