Job Title: BDC Representative

At Sames Motor Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused BDC Representative to join our team. As a BDC Representative, you will play a critical role in driving growth by developing and nurturing business relationships with present and future customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Inquiries: Handle all guest inquiries with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Appointment Coordination: Receive inbound calls on new and pre-owned vehicles with a goal to establish a firm appointment date and time from the prospect guest to visit the sales or service department.
  • Product Knowledge: Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while answering questions and inquiries from guests, and providing general or related vehicle sales/service information.
  • Data Management: Gather and track all guest data as directed; accurately enter into BDC database.
  • Scripted Interactions: Utilize detailed scripts provided by the dealership in addressing guest inquiries and concerns to meet the dealerships and manufactures objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in close proximity with other Sales BDC Representatives in a team-based environment.
  • Follow-up: Facilitate timely follow-up on all internet leads as directed by management and/or procedures.
  • Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company direction related to the National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.
  • Leadership Partnership: Partner with BDC leadership on activities in the dealership / outside the call center.
  • Communication: Communicate with the dealership management or front-line employees on behalf of our guests.
  • Meetings and Training: Participate in departmental and dealership meetings; other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills via phone, one-on-one, and online are a must.
  • Math and Writing Skills: Proficient in basic math and writing skills.
  • Customer Service: Proven customer service track record or obvious desire to provide next-level customer service.
  • Comfort Level: Comfortable in a high-paced, competitive environment.
  • Background Check: Pass drug testing, background investigation/interview.
