Lunchroom Supervisor

The Richmond Community School District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Lunchroom Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during lunchtime, while also promoting a positive and respectful environment.

• Supervise students in the lunchroom and on the playground, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Provide guidance and direction to students entering and leaving the lunchroom.
• Direct student dismissal to and from lunch serving lines.
• Assist with lunchroom clean-up and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Promote school rules and regulations in the lunchroom.
• Work with students to resolve conflicts and disputes in a peaceful manner.
• Report any student injuries or incidents to the school office.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Lunchroom Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with students, staff, and parents. The position requires the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations.
