POSITION SUMMARY
The role involves operating conventional machinery to hand finish, grind, and tumble parts, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specifications through the following responsibilities:

WORKING HOURS

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Compensation
$20.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing files, wire brushes, or buffing cloths to scrape or rub parts.
  • Positioning parts against buffing or grinding wheels.
  • Deburring and polishing components to achieve desired finishes.
  • Mounting parts on revolving spindles or chucks while manipulating tools such as files, abrasive stones, or cloths against workpieces.
  • Cleaning interior surfaces of holes and changing tools on powered equipment as necessary.
  • Completing required documentation and accurately reporting labor in a timely manner.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines, quality system procedures, and maintaining housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this position, candidates must be capable of fulfilling each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent, along with 3-5 years of relevant hand-finishing experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience. The ability to work independently under general supervision is essential.
