Site Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing site-civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Design all aspects of engineering projects, including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, storm water management, and erosion/sediment control.
- Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions and prepare agency design submission packages for reviews and approvals.
- Participate in permitting and the completion of as-constructed/as-built drawings.
- Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state, and local codes.
- Draft technical specifications and occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings.
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of relevant design experience in the site-civil engineering field working with AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
- Experience designing land development projects.
- EIT Certification or ability to obtain within the next 6 months (preferred but not required).
