Senior Finance Manager

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is partnering with a global manufacturing organization to find a Senior Finance Manager. This role will work closely with the Finance Director, Controller, and FP&A Director to drive business growth and deliver on the company's strategic agenda.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in Adaptive Planning. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, with the ability to work strategically to help scale the business. As a strong leader, you will lead a team of finance professionals in the U.S. and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and internal reporting.
  • Drive budgeting processes, optimize expense management, and control operational costs.
  • Support month-end accounting close processes and prepare financial materials.
  • Develop key operational metrics and identify process/profitability improvements.
  • Lead the Business Unit P&L, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Drive site financial P&L ownership and FP&A operational improvements.
  • Provide analytical insight to assess new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and cost accounting practices.
  • Proven success managing and business staff, with demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a dynamic working environment.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Prior experience with Tableau and Business Objects is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with Adaptive Planning is required.
  • ERP experience required; SAP or Oracle is preferred.
