Data Engineer with Databricks and Azure

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks and Azure to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based data systems using Databricks and Azure. Your primary focus will be on cloud data migration, data modeling, and database design with a strong emphasis on performance tuning. You will also be responsible for setting up data pipelines for ETL jobs across multiple data sources, troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues, and ensuring data security and compliance. Additionally, you will work on optimizing database performance, scalability, and ensuring data security and compliance. If you have experience with cloud security in AWS/Azure, specifically IAM Roles & Policies, Security Groups, and Encryption keys, this is a great opportunity to apply your skills. You will also be working on event-based, micro-batch, and batched high-volume and high-velocity transaction and data processing systems. Proficiency in CICD and DevOps is a must. Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement cloud-based data systems using Databricks and Azure
* Perform cloud data migration, data modeling, and database design with a strong emphasis on performance tuning
* Set up data pipelines for ETL jobs across multiple data sources
* Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
* Ensure data security and compliance
* Optimize database performance, scalability, and ensure data security and compliance

Requirements:
* 4-6 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data systems
* Strong expertise in Databricks and Azure
* Experience with cloud data migration, data modeling, and database design
* Proficiency in CICD and DevOps
* Strong knowledge of cloud security in AWS/Azure
