Job Summary

Martin's Restaurant Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Station Setup and Maintenance: Ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked and organized in a clean and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and maintain a high level of quality control throughout the preparation process.
  • Cooking and Presentation: Cook menu items to order, ensuring that they are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available when needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Cooking Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen, with a proven track record of preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard.
  • Culinary Skills: Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and Speed: Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices and regulations.
