Cafeteria Assistant/Custodian

Cresthaven Academy is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant/Custodian to support the food service and custodial operations of the school. This is a full-time position that requires a team player who is friendly and able to communicate effectively with the team.
Responsibilities- Setup and breakdown all tables and meal service stations daily
- Support and assist the clean up of all scholar meals during the breakfast and lunch time periods
- Ensure the Point of Sale machine is up and running daily
- Ensure students are properly using their IDs/pin numbers on the Point of Sales Machine
- Assist scholars (as needed) with opening meals
- Support the Dean of Culture in upholding student behaviors and expectations during breakfast and lunch.
- Abide by the strictest standards of physical and food safety
- Complete any required training associated with food service compliance
- Take out and dispose of garbage
- Clean and restock bathrooms
- Sweep and vacuum areas throughout the building
- Support custodial operations elsewhere as needed
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated ability for the work to be performed
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable
