Position Overview:
The Billing Compliance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development, execution, and continuous evaluation of the Corporate Compliance Program, with a strong focus on adherence to federal payor billing regulations and compliance education within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Program Management:**
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of the Corporate Compliance Program, ensuring alignment with federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough assessments of various compliance risk areas across the organization to inform the Compliance Department's strategic work plan.

2. **Auditing and Investigations:**
- Execute scheduled audits as outlined in the work plan and manage unplanned investigations.
- Provide compliance guidance to personnel, utilizing critical thinking to determine necessary corrective actions for any identified non-compliance.

3. **Regulatory Engagement:**
- Monitor and respond to regulatory inquiries, representing the Compliance Department on relevant committees.
- Offer ongoing advice and support to leadership and management regarding compliance matters.

4. **Education and Training:**
- Develop and implement training programs for staff and management on federal payor regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
- Assess the educational needs of the organization to tailor training initiatives effectively.

5. **Vendor and Payer Audits:**
- Oversee audits conducted by external vendors and payers, providing regular updates to senior management on audit statuses.
- Review and mentor peers in their audit processes, contributing to the professional development of the compliance team.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- At least five (5) years of experience in healthcare, including roles in coding, auditing, or utilization management.
