Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in a school setting in Mississippi. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work with students from kindergarten to 12th grade, providing support and services to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of students' progress
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in speech therapy required
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
- Active or pending state SLPA license is mandatory
- ASHA certification is an advantageous asset
