Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes with physicians and families
  • Administer and chart prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
  • Document patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist with medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Accredited nursing degree required
  • Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
