Eastern University is seeking a highly motivated and organized GPS Enrollment Counselor to join our vibrant and enthusiastic Graduate and Online Undergraduate (G&O) Enrollment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a full recruitment territory across specific academic programs and providing excellent customer service to prospects from initial contact through enrollment in their selected academic program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed recruitment goals by promoting assigned Eastern programs to a diverse student inquiry population.
  • Communicate with prospective and current applicants through phone calls, emails, appointments, and virtual engagements.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Graduate & Online Undergraduate program offerings and participate in ongoing training regarding all Eastern offerings.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and update the operations team on applicant records and admissions credentials within Salesforce/TargetX.
  • Network with current students to promote G&O programs and generate referrals.
  • Conduct and schedule enthusiastic noontime or evening virtual information sessions/open houses for prospective students.
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the enrollment team, student services, academic advising, and financial aid to facilitate a positive student experience.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate personal Christian faith and an affirmation of the EU Mission and ethos.
  • Show evidence of personal and professional integrity and character.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the student-focused and value-centered characteristics of the university as articulated in the EU Mission, Vision, and Core Commitments.
  • Flexible, team-oriented, collaborative, positive work ethos and attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college or university.
  • Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and suitable driving record.
  • Experience in higher education enrollment preferred.
