Job Title: Admissions Counselor

Perimeter Healthcare is seeking a skilled Admissions Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake interviews to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of behavioral health theory and practice to identify and address complex patient needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in behavioral health care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health field or Tennessee RN license.
  • At least one year of experience in Behavioral Health assessment and/or treatment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, community resources, and insurance information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
