Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Admissions Counselor at Millsaps College. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for assisting with the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students. This includes conducting campus tours, attending college fairs, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and providing information about the college's programs and offerings. The Admissions Counselor will also assist with outreach to high schools and community organizations to promote Millsaps College.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage and connect with prospective students and families
- Prior experience in sales, higher education or secondary education
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
