Program Management Specialist - Youth Services

This is an entry-level management position that serves as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day operation of the program. The Program Management Specialist - Youth Services will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate service needs, and collaborate with other service providers and agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and youth.

Job Summary

The Program Management Specialist - Youth Services is responsible for the overall management of the program, including the supervision of staff, coordination of services, and collaboration with community partners. This position requires excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of the juvenile dependency system and child development principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day clinical/administrative operations of assigned team, ensuring all clients served receive services as indicated on their treatment plan.
  • Align team around common objective in order to ensure contract and organizational policies are upheld.
  • Ensure staff documentation, assessments, and paperwork meet all standards for compliance, productivity, and timeliness.
  • Review and prepare staff performance evaluations and facilitate disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with State/County agency representatives and community partners. Participate in all required meetings.
  • Provide consistent supervision, including support, feedback, clinical consultation, and clear expectations of job duties and professional growth.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • Licensed Psychologist, LMFT or LCSW
  • Minimum of one-year management experience or supervisory experience over staff who provide direct behavioral health services to children
  • LCSW/MFT/LP. Ability to supervise Pre-licensed Clinicians and Student Interns/trainees
  • Valid CA driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle without restrictions, often in heavy traffic and frequently long distances to ensure safe transport to client settings and to safely transport clients to appointments as needed
  • Senses of vision, hearing and smell sufficient to regularly operate a motor vehicle, to visualize threats in the environment or risks to clients, and to operate safely in the field
  • Required to occasionally lift and carry 10-20 pounds
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, climb stairs (1 or more flights) and walk while in route to and during family visits
Compensation

The salary for this position is $87,000 - $91,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
