Job Title: Worship Musician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Worship Musician to join our team at LADGOV CORPORATION. The successful candidate will provide musical support for the Protestant Community Worship Service at Luke Air Force Base, creating a harmonious worship experience for the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany all worship services, providing preludes, postludes, offertories, and choir/congregational singing.
  • Provide accompaniment for special services, such as funerals/memorials and weddings.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional and business-like manner, maintaining a neat and well-groomed appearance.
  • Assist the CWS Chaplain in ensuring the choir is returned to its original condition and that the facilities are properly secured and locked upon departure.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to operate in a diverse worship environment and maintain healthy, functional interpersonal relationships with co-workers, chapel staff, and parishioners.
  • Possess a high level of technical playing ability and demonstrate sight-reading ability by successfully passing an audition.
  • Must be familiar with contemporary and gospel worship styles and possess the ability to blend them into a harmonious worship experience.
  • A letter of recommendation from an ordained clergyperson attesting to the applicant's musical ability/experience and character is required as part of the application package.
