Cynet Health is seeking a skilled ER Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a travel ER Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Collect current symptoms, detailed patient history, and consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Triage and Stabilization: Perform triage, considering both physical and psychosocial elements, and manage basic life support needs to stabilize patients until the attending physician is available.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer prescribed medications, recording vital signs and reporting adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- IV Therapy and Wound Care: Provide IV therapy and clean and bandage wounds as needed.
- Patient Education: Initiate patient education plans, teaching patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury, including post-treatment home care needs, diet/nutrition/exercise programs, self-administration of medication, and rehabilitation.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure in good standing and a minimum of one year of recent hospital experience in the ER.
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory; TNCC and NIHSS certifications are preferred.
