Key Responsibilities

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. Your duties will include:

  1. Rapid assessment and treatment of patients experiencing life-threatening conditions
  2. Administering medications and treatments according to medical protocols
  3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  4. Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
  5. Operating and monitoring medical equipment
  6. Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center, meaning you'll gain valuable experience treating complex cases while maintaining excellent standards of care.

Qualifications
  1. Active RN license in New York (or compact license)
  2. BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
  3. 1-2 years of recent ER nursing experience
  4. Proficiency with Epic EMR systems is a plus
  5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
