Job Title: Leasing Service Manager

TEC Equipment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leasing Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for driving our success and status as a leader in the industry through the efficient and profitable operations of the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of diesel technicians, service advisors, drivers, and foremen, including workforce planning, staffing, employee development, employee engagement, and corrective action.
  • Take full accountability for the profitability, risk management, and growth of the Service department, forecasting long and short-term objectives and managing the team towards goals utilizing an objectives scorecard.
  • Build and grow customer relationships and loyalty by ensuring prompt high-quality repairs, resolving complaints, and solving problems, becoming our customers' best resource for finding solutions.
  • Plan labor by evaluating incoming work and allocating resources, balancing shift schedules, and level loading workloads to maximize efficiency and productivity, driving continuous improvement initiatives and embracing change to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Commit to a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with all internal business partners to maximize financial performance and customer satisfaction, seeking out, developing, and maintaining excellent vendor relationships.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the transportation industry, repair shop, or dealership environment.
  • Experience with CDK and ASIST.
  • Prior experience with P&L management.
  • Minimum five years' successful management experience with a proven history of achieving sales and business objectives.
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to analyze, prioritize, identify, and execute solutions.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge of truck repair and quality standards.
  • Proficient with computers, with the ability to utilize all required systems and software.
  • Valid driver's license.
