Our servers deliver outstanding service to guests from start to finish by following our established Steps of Service, anticipating and addressing each guest's needs, and sharing comprehensive knowledge of our menu offerings.

Compensation starts at $6.00/hour plus tip share, with our servers typically earning between $35-$45/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide every guest with a warm and genuine welcome; anticipate, respond to, and fulfill each guest's needs; express gratitude to every guest and offer a heartfelt farewell.
  • Embody the Tacombi Service Culture, ensuring the Tacombi Experience is reflected in all guest interactions.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and demeanor to guarantee guest satisfaction; ensure workstations and uniforms are consistently clean.
  • Possess knowledge of restaurant policies, Tacombi Brand values, and menu items.
  • Prepare the dining area by setting tables, prepping stations, and ensuring overall readiness before service, adhering to Tacombi's sidework checklist.
  • Always comply with Tacombi safety policies, alcoholic beverage service regulations, health department guidelines, and Tacombi Mexican Hospitality principles.
  • Assist guests in their food and beverage selections by discussing the menu, recommending cocktails, and suggesting Tacombi favorites; be knowledgeable about our offerings and address all food preparation inquiries.
  • Relay orders to the bar and kitchen by inputting guests' selections; keep kitchen staff informed of any special dietary requirements and requests.
  • Inform the Chef of any special dietary needs and requests.
  • Adhere to all cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Utilize a positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests.
Qualifications:
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a server role.
  • Possess a positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Capable of handling and moving objects weighing up to 20lbs.
Skills Required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong orientation towards teamwork.
  • Proficient in Toast or other POS software.
