Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and treatment modalities to individual patients, collaborating with LIPs as needed.
  • Support the principles of Capital Health's core mission, focusing on quality care, compassion, dignity, and comprehensive continuum of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, acknowledging their involvement in the care process.
  • Assess patient education needs, planning and implementing targeted education, and evaluating comprehension and compliance.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely, documenting patient records according to established protocols.
  • Perform technical skills specific to assigned ambulatory settings, including administering immunizations and other injections as ordered by LIP.
  • Calls in prescriptions to pharmacies under the direction of the LIP.
  • Maintain logs of laboratory work, X-rays, and other tests, monitoring receipt of results to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • An Associate degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • A valid NJ or PA RN license, depending on primary state office location, with the ability to obtain a second out-of-state license within three months.
  • At least one year of experience in an acute, urgent care, or outpatient setting.
  • AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficient computer skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires frequent physical demands, including standing, walking, carrying objects, pushing/pulling, twisting, bending, wrist position deviation, pinching/fine motor activities, keyboard use/repetitive motion, taste or smell. Occasional demands include sitting, climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders), reaching forward, reaching overhead, squat/kneel/crawl. Continuous demands include talking or hearing.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical. We require annual flu vaccine for all applicants, with exceptions for medical and religious exemptions.
