Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and verify written prescriptions or refill requests for accuracy.
  • Prepare pharmaceutical compounds in accordance with established prescriptions.
  • Ensure proper storage and security of medications.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive patient profiles.
  • Handle incoming calls to address patient inquiries or direct them to the pharmacist for detailed medication information.
  • Process and file filled prescriptions accurately.
  • Receive and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies and related items.
  • Verify invoices against received quantities of products.
  • Monitor pharmaceutical inventory to maintain current stock levels and dispose of expired medications appropriately.
  • Collaborate with purchasing agents to ensure adequate medication supply.
