Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

At OrthoArkansas, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth patient flow within the department, providing excellent patient care, and producing high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Imaging and Patient Care: Competently perform X-ray procedures according to physician protocols, provide high-quality patient care, ensure patient comfort and safety, and assist patients in and out of wheelchairs as needed.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate imaging equipment efficiently and accurately, transfer images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging equipment and examination rooms, and call in service tickets for any issues with imaging equipment.
  • Collaboration and Support: Assist Clinic Assistants and other healthcare team members as needed, and perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support the department's smooth operation.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by completion of a formal radiologic technology program, and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), valid state licensure, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in operating X-ray imaging software and equipment, experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position requires a detail-oriented and compassionate individual capable of ensuring efficient department operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and producing accurate diagnostic images.
