Position Overview
As a Financial Analyst, you will engage in and oversee intricate financial analysis projects and reports. Utilizing your extensive knowledge of financial practices, you will provide strategic recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments to clarify VNA's financial outcomes related to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while making necessary adjustments and projections in the sales model.
- Present analytical results to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Conduct complex financial analyses using advanced technical accounting knowledge concerning profit and loss statements, balance sheets, operating expenses, cash flow, and asset management.
- Deliver accounting and financial services to internal business units and external clients, including the preparation of monthly billing statements.
- Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare monthly journal entries.
- Manage monthly billing processes, including fixed fees, variable charges, and pass-through costs.
- Ensure billing accuracy in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Mentor and develop staff to ensure precise financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the corporate consolidation of financial results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis within public accounting or private industry, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
