CMM Technician Job Description

Rakhere Technologies is seeking a skilled CMM Technician to join our team in the United States. As a CMM Technician, you will be responsible for operating and programming CMM machines to measure and inspect BIW components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CMM machines to measure and inspect BIW components.
  • Develop and modify CMM programs to accommodate new parts and changes in design.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to create accurate measurement plans.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in metrology, quality control, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and programming CMM machines preferably in an automotive BIW environment.
  • Proficiency in using CMM software (e.g. PCDMIS, Calypso, Polyworks) and CAD software.
