Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our esteemed healthcare facility in California. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of patient care and medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, process, compound, prepare, label, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
- Monitor drug therapy for appropriateness, contraindications, interactions, adverse effects, and therapeutic/toxic dosing.
- Provide drug information and medication counseling to patients and healthcare personnel.
- Conduct quality assurance through drug use evaluations and medication area inspections.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise support personnel as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist by the California Board of Pharmacy, active and in good standing.
- Full-time availability is required.
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience is essential.
Compensation:
Competitive pay rate along with medical, dental, vision, and 401(K) benefits.
Schedule:
40 hours per week with variable days and afternoon shifts.
